Text bottom right: The ocean shoreline of Stone Lagoon was silting in again after storms had breached the narrow spit, prompting a series of aerial photographs for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers -- Hasselblad ELM and 100mm f3.5 Zeiss lens, Fujichrome RMS film using a Ken-Labs K-6 gyro stabilizer, shot from about 5000 feet over the coast 30 miles north of Eureka.
