Gary Todoroff is a local photographer who captures the beauty of Humboldt County from the air. This poster features a comparison of downtown Eureka in 1948 and 2008.
Text under title: Downtown Eureka, California on Humboldt Bay shows some differences in two views exactly 60 years to the day apart.
Text bottom right: Jack Phegley shot a large format camera over Eureka on May 1, 1948 (used by permission), inspiring another photograph of the same view on May 1, 2008 , taken with a Hasselblad ELM and 100mm f3.5 Zeiss lens on Fuji Provia film using a Ken-Labs K-6 gyro stabilizer. The 120 6x6cm color film was scanned by an Imacon Flextight digital scanner.
