Annette Makino is an artist and haiku poet who combines joyful, vibrant paintings with original words. She founded Makino Studios in 2011 to share her work with the world.
Makino paints with sumi ink and Japanese watercolors using bamboo brushes. As is traditional in Asian art, she stamps each painting in red with one of her personal seals.
